About four years ago, Jack decided to combine his passion for music and his skill at creating and inventing.  The result is the Bowers Mountain Banjo.

He has made over 200 Mountain Banjos.  Each one is handcrafted and is unique in coloration and voice.  They are generally made out of  Western red cedar, yew, maple, spruce and fir with a few others thrown in for good measure.

The cool thing about the Bowers Mountain  Banjo is that it is so easy to play..  Nothing could be easier. Nothing could be more fun!

Within just a few minutes we all were able to start playing the Bowers Mountain Banjo.  It’s so easy, anyone could do it.  It didn’t take long and we were pickin; and a grinnin’ together.  It’s great family fun!

When I got my Bowers Mountain Banjo, I started playing it and I couldn’t stop.  I stayed up  ‘till the wee small hours in the morning. It was easy and fun.  I was actually able to make music.
