The Bowers Banjo, also called the Mountain Banjo, is a three stringed instrument that is fretted and tuned like a dulcimer, but it’s played like a banjo or guitar. Each one is hand crafted by Jack Bowers in the foot hills of the Cascade Mountains.  Each one is numbered and no two are exactly alike. Not only is it a beautiful instrument, it is a work of art. The Bowers Banjo embodies, both in its style and voice, the beauty of the Pacific Northwest. If you know your ABCs and can count to 3, you will be playing in minutes using our “position system.”  You will have many hours of fun with your Bowers Mountain Banjo.  Nothing could be easier. Nothing could be more fun.
